Dr. Lynne Nagy

Meet Lynne Nagy, President of UltraMissions, Inc.  For over 20 years she has engaged people of all ages in safe, educational and fun activities on and off the water.  Dr. Nagy’s vision for the Company is to challenge children and adults to break out of their comfort zones and inject more adventure and fun into their lives.

UltraMissions provides a wide range of memorable, inspirational experiences in Northeast Ohio for children, teens, adults, businesses, and organizations.   It offers corporate team building events, city tours, celebrations, summer kids’ camps, paddle board lessons, ASI instructor certification, basic water rescue courses and graduate level experiential learning courses.

Dr. Nagy is a champion of life-long learning.  She is a Graduate Studies Professor in Experiential Learning & Development at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio.  She holds a Doctorate Degree in Urban Education/ Learning and Development from Cleveland State University; and an M.S. in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University.  Dr. Nagy completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University of Ohio.  

An active participant in a number of service learning activities and programs, Dr. Nagy volunteers for CMSD Safe Routes to School, Ohio City Bike Co-Op Earn a Bicycle Program, Cleveland Food Bank, Malachi House, Beach Cleanups and Habitat for Humanity.  

ASI Accreditation

UltraMissions is the only paddle board school and training center in the Midwest accredited by the Academy of Surfing Instructors. ASI is the premier global organization for the training and certification of Instructors and coaches in the surfing, stand up paddle, and bodyboarding industry. Based in Australia, it operates around the world to ensure that water recreation remains safe and enthusiasts are properly trained.
